Sometimes people other than me take photos, and then I get candid photos of me, which I always like much much more than photos where I’m looking at the camera and/or posing.
I rarely get to see my profile :P I used to hate it, but IDK, kinda like it in these.
This is last weekend I think? Pancakes are usually a weekend thing. Lloyd took these.
I am leaving all the extra, more butt focussed pictures off the internet.
Ok, I’ve been away from tumblr for a while - I think I needed a bit of a break from the internet in general! I probably should’ve said, but I didn’t really know I needed a break until I took one. I’ll put the rambling about why under a read more.
Ok, not the best before and after :P the back after picture is before it got neatened up - it isn’t that uneven now!
It’s only been a day, but so far I like it :) I like that it doesn’t get horribly tangled overnight, I like that it only takes 15 minutes to air dry, I like how light it feels, I like the funny little bouncy ponytail I get when I put it up.
Also, I’m glad I decided to donate it, because otherwise I’d have been a baby about it and cut it off bit by bit and it’d have taken ages.
I’ll do a before and after later, but this is what it looks like now :)
It was sunny yesterday, so I went for a long walk with Lloyd.
The first picture is part of the route I go running on, but a new part opened recently. I didn’t know it was there until we got to the end of the path and it wasn’t blocked off anymore. It’s a cycle trail through an old railway tunnel (there’s two - one is 400m, the other is 1600m) which is pretty cool.
The middle picture kind of shows what it’s like in the tunnel - it was a strange experience! The whole thing is lit but it definitely feels like being underground, in a cave or something.
So that was my slightly unplanned adventure this weekend :)
Exercise and food and stuff for the past 3 days (I’ve been exhausted pretty much all the time recently, so I’m keeping a record for a bit). It’s long and badly formatted, so under a read more it goes.
I’m not expecting anyone to read this, by the way :P It’s for my own reference. But if you’re curious, the conclusion so far is that I’m doing ok with ~7 hours of sleep a night, 3 proper meals, 3-5 glasses of water and a vitamin tablet. I haven’t done much exercise, so I might try that tomorrow and see how it goes.

Ok, I’m getting it together. I didn’t have the best night’s sleep, but I’m on my second glass of water today and this is my breakfast. Baked oats with cranberries and nuts and seeds. Plus dark chocolate, and my vitamin tablet :)
I also remembered to take the bins/recycling out last night. Which isn’t really related, other than that you could file this under “look I am being an adult yay me”.
Lately I’ve been really tired all the time, and I need to check if this is because of lifestyle before I go and talk to a doctor about it. I suspect it might be. I hope so, because that will be easier to fix than actual health problems.
I’m going to keep a record of sleep/food/hydration/activity/energy for a little bit. I might post it here, but idk because that seems like like a super easy way to get judged on the internet?
Here is today’s, anyway. (Today’s lack of energy is definitely my own fault, jsyk before you read it out of curiosity or whatever. Not enough sleep, not enough food, not enough water.)
