I made banana peanut butter maple syrup chocolate toasties. Mum gave me those toastie bag things, and they’re really good.
Also made banana cinnamon french toast (the one where you soak bread in blended banana and almond milk, then fry it).
I’d say this was a special valentine’s day treat, but that’d be a lie. We just had a lot of bread and bananas that needed using.
Last time I posted a picture of a PB & Banana sandwich, someone said I should try grilling it.
I forget who it was (it was ages ago) but whoever it was is basically a genius. Yep.
I’m home alone til at least Monday evening, and there’s about a bunch and a half of bananas. They need using up pretty much now, so I’m thinking:
- Eat one (or two, or three…)
- Banana Pancakes (it is, after all, Sunday)
- Banana Bread Muffins
- Banana Soft Serve
- ???
What are your favourite banana recipes? :)
(Also, I have reached the point where ‘banana’ has stopped sounding like a real word, and I’m convinced I’m spelling it wrong…)
Pancake Sunday :)
Chocolate Covered Katie Banana Pancakes with peanut butter, chocolate and chopped nuts.
I would like this to be run fuel, but I have an exam tomorrow morning. So alas, it is study fuel instead! And probably yoga fuel, because I can do that in study breaks.
Pre Breakfast Snack: Banana
Breakfast: Homemade Granola
Snack: Strawberries (so excited that strawberries are in season!)
Lunch: Pasta with Tomato & Basil Sauce (not pictured - friends were here, and I was making lunch for them!)
Study Snack? Second Lunch?: Kale & Chilli Pasta (leftover from last night)
Dinner: Veggie & Rice Noodle Broth
Uh, yeah. Apparently I got an extra lunch in there? I actually didn’t realise until I was putting this together!

My life right now - peanut butter & banana bagels, green tea and a load of studying!
